Cruising on the Historic Canal in Augusta
If you want to experience something quite different during your visit to Augusta, then join a cruise on the histopric canal and the adjoining Savannah River. It is a good way to see some of the city from a different angle.

Fountains, Fountains Everywhere - But not a drop to drink!
There really are a lot of fountains all over Augusta. It really gives the city a lot of character and makes it feel quite special, quite different from other US cities. We spent a long of time wandering along Broad Street, where there are lots of shops and places to eat, and of course, a fountain or two along the way.
